GNSS and inertial measurement unit
The OxTS GNSS inertial navigation units measure where a vehicle is, how it’s oriented, and how it’s moving in every axis.
As well as outputting accurate positioning data, these highly accurate devices capture the acceleration, speed, roll, pitch and yaw at frequencies of up to 250Hz and can displace the output to any point on the vehicle. They are the same systems that Euro NCAP, ANCAP, NHTSA and many others specify in their test requirements.
