Microstar 1
The Microstar 1 is a non contact 1-axis Microwave speed sensor used for the Acquisition of vehicle speed and Distance travelled.
The principle behind the Microstar 1 is the Doppler Effect where the speed is determined by comparing the frequencies of the projected beam with the returning beam that has been reflected from the surface. The Microstar however transmits two radar beams at 45° angles, which enables the device to correct for pitch angle errors hence providing optimum accuracy.

Radar Doppler Speed Sensor
The GME DRS1000 measures relative motion. This means the sensor or moving vehicle can be fixed. The sensor can measure speeds from 1.5kph to 480kph. This is a low cost single beam sensor with excellent working range and linearity.
