Vehicle Dynamics and Mapping
In Vehicle Robots
ABD have in vehicle robots to suit a variety of applications such as steering, brake and acceleration testing. Their high standard of quality and untarnished reputation places them on the top of their industry. Adequate training and ongoing support is also provided.
Steering robots
Applications
The SR series of Steering Robots (Programmable Steering Controllers) are designed to apply inputs to a vehicle's steering system for testing its transient handling behaviour on the test track. It allows a wide range of steering inputs to be applied with high precision and repeatability, to enable high quality data to be gathered quickly. It can also be used for steering system testing.

Brake Robot
Applications
The ABD Brake Robot is designed to apply inputs to a vehicle's brake pedal for braking characterisation and handling behaviour measurement. It is typically used to apply step or ramped force or position inputs to the brake pedal. It can also be used to control vehicle deceleration when an accelerometer is used for feedback

Accelerator Robot
The Accelerator Robot can be used either as a stand-alone product, or together with the ABD steering robot and brake robot products. When it is used in conjunction with ABD's other robots it is possible to perform accurate and repeatable steering, braking and throttle control for vehicle dynamic testing.
